Wairarapa Homestay or Cottage B&B

What To Do In The Wairarapa

If you would want to leave the property at all, here are some suggestions:

The Fell museum in Featherston, the arts in Greytown, the wine scenery in Martinborough, Stonehenge in Carterton.
Just up the road from Whispering Winds is the Tauherenikau race course, one of the oldest and finest around.
There is the seal colony on the coast, the fishing village of Ngawi with its collection of tractors and diggers to get the boats into the water, the lighthouse and the wonderful views you are rewarded with after climbing the many steps.
There are the many gardens to visit, the wildlife park of Mount Bruce, the tramping walks in the Rimutaka or Tararua hills
