Coming from Wellington, keep on following State Highway 2 through Featherston. About 5 km north of Featherston,
just about 500 m past the bridge over the Tauherenikau river, veer off to the right into No 1 Line, which is signposted. Drive for about 2 km and you will see the sign of Whispering Winds on your left, the number on the gate is
265.
If you come from Masterton, keep on driving South through Carterton and Greytown. About 6 km south of Greytown veer
to the left into No 1 Line; on the sign it says Pirinoa and Lake Ferry, follow the earlier mentioned instructions.
